Richard Mercado
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Richard has worked in the field of education for fourteen years. His experience includes serving as a mathematics teacher, math department chair, English Language Learner project facilitator, instructional leader, and vice chair of a School Organization Team. He holds a Certification in Language Development and Acquisition, a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics, and a Master’s Degree in School Administration. He is currently completing his dissertation for a Doctorate in Leadership and School Management. On his free time he loves to read and hang out with his furbabies.
Dr. Leandro Venturina
Business Operations Manager
Leandro is an accomplished data management professional with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Purdue University. He has built a successful career leading data-driven improvement in K–12 education, leveraging his expertise in statistical analysis and technology initiatives to help close achievement gaps. His experience includes directing data management, assessment, and technology programs. He also brings valuable classroom experience as a mathematics teacher and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics.
Donna Castro
Talent Development Coordinator
Donna brings exceptional grit and passion to her work, supported by twenty-six years of experience as a mathematics teacher and six years as an EOD New Teacher Coach with the Clark County School District in Nevada. Her expertise spans the entire staffing and support cycle, from the initial onboarding process to ongoing professional development and retention efforts for newly hired teachers, ensuring a smooth and successful transition into their roles. She holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Teachers.
Joyceleen Herry
Office Manager
Celeen is currently embracing her role as a mother to a wonderful child, a responsibility that has further strengthened her commitment to advocating for high-quality education and ensuring that every student, including her son, can reach their fullest potential. She brings extensive experience in customer service and clerical management, demonstrating strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a natural ability to support and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
